OPENING QUESTIONS: Yesterday's video about The Fermi Paradox talked extensively about something called the Kardashev Scale?

What is the Kardashev Scale and how does that fit into our conversation of SETI?

What would it take to build a Dyson Sphere?

Where do you think a technology capable of building such an object would fall on the Kardashev Scale?
